Music Player
Apart from astronomy my other hobby is music. Here on this page are a series of arrangements of two of my favourite bands. The arrangements are from readily available MIDI files found on the Internet that I have imported in to Propellerhead's Reason 4.1. The MIDI files need initially to be extensively worked on as Reason doesn't import key signatures or tempo mappings. This has to be done manually (a lot of mouse clicking!) whilst keeping the notes data as intended by the arranger.   I have created some unique sound combinations using Reason to get as close to the original  as much a possible.  The final arrangement is then engineered down to a final stereo mix, exported as an audio file and finally converted from a very large sized Wav to a smaller mp3 format file.
